MUSLIMCBT / PRACTICAL READING
Print or Fillable? Starting Your MuslimCBT Workbook
The MuslimCBT workbook comes in two formats: print and fillable. Both contain the same 50 pages. You can choose the way of writing that fits your routine.
Choose one working copy
The print version is designed for handwriting. You can print the response page you need rather than printing the whole workbook at once.
The fillable version lets you type into form fields in a compatible PDF reader. Download the file before beginning; a browser preview may not keep changes in the way you expect.
Check one saved entry first
- Open a downloaded copy in a PDF reader that supports forms.
- Type a short test entry.
- Save the PDF as your working copy.
- Close it and reopen it to confirm that the entry remains.
If the entry is missing, try a compatible reader or use the print version while resolving the saving issue. Keep your original download separate so you always have a clean copy.
Find the response page for your week
Workbook pages 2–3 give the eight-week route. Read them alongside the guide’s “How to Use This Guide” on pages 8–10.
Pages 33–34 are a finder for response pages. Some workbook pages reproduce the guide’s prompts as matched response copies. Use one copy for an exercise; you do not need to write the same answers twice.
Use the completed example
For the Islamic Thought Record, workbook page 5 contains the blank prompts. Page 35 contains the matching completed illustration. Its seven-step order and 0–10 emotion scale follow the guide’s prompts on pages 52–53.
The example shows how the fields work. Its numbers are fictional, not a prediction of how your feelings should change.
Keep weekly reflection simple
Weekly reflections are on workbook pages 43–50. Note what you tried, what you learned and what you want to carry forward. A short record is easier to return to than an entry you feel obliged to make perfect.
Keep personal notes private
Your workbook may contain personal reflections. Choose a place to save it that you are comfortable with. If you request technical support, describe the file, reader and page involved without sending personal answers.
When an updated blank workbook becomes available, keep the previous file if it contains your entries. Save the new edition alongside it. An update should not replace your own notes.
Try the workflow with a free sample
The free starter has a print version and a fillable version with seven fields. It is a small way to check how the format works on your device and decide whether the programme’s approach is useful to you.
